Lion's Head One of the Tourist Attraction of Baguio City, Phlippines

This is a man-made Lion's Head that is carved from natural limestone formation.This 40-foot high lion head is a trademark that stands enormously on the side of the road upon entering Baguio City, Philippines. It has a view deck and is considered a tourist attraction and one of the popular images of Baguio.
Kennon Road is one of the three major access roads that lead up to Baguio City from Manila and the provinces in the central and western parts of Luzon. It connects the city with the town of Rosario, La Union. The other two are Marcos Highway from Agoo, La Union and Naguilian Road from Bauang, La Union. A fourth less-traveled route is Halsema Highway which links Baguio City with Ifugao, Mountain Province, and Kalinga-Apayao. Another infrequently-traveled road from the province of Nueva Vizcaya connects with Baguio and passes on top of Ambuklao dam.Inspite of numerous accidents along Kennon Road, many visitors and tourists still pass through it to see the breathtaking scenery that unfolds at each bend of the road. This is my mother wearing one of the dress used by the natives of Baguio which is the Ifugao. She visited Baguio the last year together with my Aunt in California. She sent me this pictures.
